   Light damage. Surface peeled off some roofs, gutters and siding damaged, branches broken, shallow-rooted trees pushed over.

2. EF186 to 110 mphthis tornado

   Moderate damage. Roofs badly stripped, mobile homes overturned or badly damaged, exterior doors lost, windows broken.

3. EF2111 to 135 mph

   Considerable damage. Roofs torn off well-built houses, frame homes shifted on their foundations, mobile homes destroyed, large trees snapped or uprooted, cars lifted off the ground.

4. EF3136 to 165 mph

   Severe damage. Whole stories of well-built houses destroyed, large buildings badly damaged, trains overturned, trees debarked, heavy cars lifted and thrown.

5. EF4166 to 200 mph

   Devastating damage. Well-built houses leveled, structures with weak foundations moved some distance, cars thrown and large missiles generated.

6. EF5over 200 mph

   Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.

7. Unrated

   The survey recorded a tornado but could not put a number on it, most often because it crossed open country and damaged nothing a rating can be read from.

After analyzing both Sentinel satellite data and drone footage, we are adjusting the beginning and ending of this tornado track. The Satellite data clearly shows a swath of damage to trees just along and south of Bailey Road, just east of the intersection with Ridgewood Dr. This path continues and crosses Fishport Rd, where two other notable patches of trees were downed. The concentration of damage would indicate 95-100mph wind given the amount of tree coverage lost. As the tornado crossed Ridge Rd, Dague Rd, and Nobles Rd, the damage becomes more sporadic in nature. However, drone footage in this region shows the tops of several softwood trees snapped off, particularly near Dague Rd. Concentrated was again noted along Conti Rd and throughout the National Pike Steam Gas and Horse Association grounds as noted in the original survey. Here, nearly 200 trees were down around the National Pike Steam Show property. Trees were both snapped and uprooted. Additional damage was noted in the drone footage to the south and west, continuing toward Rye's Bar and Restaurant. After this point, the tornado most likely lifted as damage was more widespread in nature, and more indicative of straight-line wind.

Ahead of an approaching cold front and aided by leading shortwave-induced ascent, a cluster of thunderstorms tracked across southeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania producing wind damage, several tornadoes, and a few instances of large hail. Moist southerly flow pulled upper 50s to low 60s dew points with surface temperatures in the mid 70s allowing for sufficient destabilization up to 1500 J/kg of MLCAPE, 35-40 knots of effective shear, and 50-150 m2/s2 of 0-1 km SRH to support an all hazards threat.

0 minutes of warning. NWS PBZ issued a tornado warning for this county at 18:44 UTC, 0 minutes before the tornado touched down, in force until 18:54 UTC.

The county was under a severe thunderstorm watch, issued at 15:54 UTC and running to 22:00 UTC.
