   Light damage. Surface peeled off some roofs, gutters and siding damaged, branches broken, shallow-rooted trees pushed over.

2. EF186 to 110 mph

   Moderate damage. Roofs badly stripped, mobile homes overturned or badly damaged, exterior doors lost, windows broken.

3. EF2111 to 135 mph

   Considerable damage. Roofs torn off well-built houses, frame homes shifted on their foundations, mobile homes destroyed, large trees snapped or uprooted, cars lifted off the ground.

4. EF3136 to 165 mph

   Severe damage. Whole stories of well-built houses destroyed, large buildings badly damaged, trains overturned, trees debarked, heavy cars lifted and thrown.

5. EF4166 to 200 mph

   Devastating damage. Well-built houses leveled, structures with weak foundations moved some distance, cars thrown and large missiles generated.

6. EF5over 200 mph

   Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.

7. Unrated

   The survey recorded a tornado but could not put a number on it, most often because it crossed open country and damaged nothing a rating can be read from.

Severe thunderstorms across the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle during the mid and late afternoon hours produced large hail...strong winds and a few tornadoes. No damage or injuries were reported.

Multiple storm chasers reported a tornado which touched down at approximately 1452 CST about five miles north of Booker Texas in Beaver county Oklahoma. The tornado traveled about five miles and lifted about eight miles northeast of Booker Texas at 1458 CST. The tornado remained over open country. The tornado path length and path width were estimated. No damage or injuries were reported.

The broadcast media and VORTEX2 reported a multivortex tornado which touched down at approximately 1517 CST about eleven miles east of Elmwood Oklahoma. The tornado traveled about three miles before lifting about three to four miles south of Clear Lake Oklahoma. The tornado was rain wrapped and remained over open country. No damage or injuries were reported. The tornado path length and path width were estimated.

Two separate storm chasers reported that a tornado touched down about 1522 CST approximately ten miles west of Slapout Oklahoma. The tornado was rain wrapped and traveled about two to three miles before lifting at around 1527 CST roughly four miles south southeast of Clear Lake Oklahoma. The tornado remained over open country and was also reported by local law enforcement officials. The tornado path length and path width were estimated. No damage or injuries were reported.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a tornado touched down at approximately 1541 CST about seven miles west northwest of Slapout Oklahoma. The tornado remained on the ground for about five minutes and lifted about five miles east of Clear Lake Oklahoma around 1546 CST. The tornado remained over open country and no damage or injuries were reported. The tornado path length and path width were estimated.
