This F1 tornado ran 1.2 miles across Thomas County on September 29, 1998, touching down at 3:40 PM EDT and reaching 70 yards wide. It killed nobody, and did $450,000 of property damage.

Devastating damage. Well-built houses leveled, structures with weak foundations moved some distance, cars thrown and large missiles generated.
F5261 to 318 mph
Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.

An F1 tornado touched down off Bayline Rd near Coolidge which uprooted trees and utility poles, damaged a camper and brick house, and destroyed the Patch Poultry Farm and its 45,000 chickens.
