This F2 tornado ran 6.0 miles across Grant County on December 3, 1982, touching down at 9:10 AM CST and reaching 60 yards wide. It killed nobody, and did $50,000 to $500,000 of property damage.

Incredible damage. Strong frame houses swept off their foundations, car-sized missiles thrown more than 100 meters, steel-reinforced concrete badly damaged, high-rise buildings deformed.
