Cimarron River near Dover

Flooding may cover the southern and western portions of Dover. Overflow depths ranging up to about 11 feet cover most of the flood plain in Kingfisher County... and into western Logan County. Concurrent high stages on Turkey Creek could cause flooding to extend across most of Dover... which would be worse than the flooding which occurred in May 1957.

Flooding occurs within the southwest portions of Dover. Flood depths ranging up to about 10 feet cover most of the flood plain in Kingfisher County... and into western Logan County. Concurrent high stages on Turkey Creek could cause flooding to extend across most of Dover... like in May 1957.

Shallow flooding touches the southern edge of Dover. depths ranging up to 9 feet will cover most of the flood plain of the Cimarron River in Kingfisher County... and into western Logan County. Concurrent high stages on Turkey Creek could create substantial flooding of Dover like the flooding which occurred in May 1957.

Oil wells in lower places are severely flooded. Concurrent high stages on Turkey Creek could contibute to additional inundation of the southwest portions of Dover.
