Beaver River (MN) near Beaver Bay

1. 22.10 ftSeveral feet of moving water over the bridge and Superior Hiking Trail. Water reaches gauge housing and data loss may be possible at this level.
2. 19.60 ftNorth trail approach inundated, and bridge is completely inundated.
3. 19.00 ftWidespread inundation of the Superior Hiking and snowmobile trail, including the bridge and possibly nearby campsites on the SHT downstream of the bridge. Extensive flooding of the Silver Bay golf course was observed at these levels in June 2024.
4. 17.00 ftWater begins flowing over southern portions of the bridge. Superior Hiking Trail under several feet of flowing water on either side of the bridge.
5. 15.60 ftWater across south trail approach.
6. 15.00 ftWater approaching bottom of SHT and snowmobile bridge. Water begins inundating portions of the Superior Hiking Trail along the northeast side of the river and encroaching on the bridge approach on the southwest side of the river.
7. 13.00 ftRiver out of banks, lowland flooding, water nears the edge of the Superior Hiking Trail along the northeast side of the river.
