1. 22.00 ftMajor flooding begins with widepspread inundation of the large flood plain and wooded wetlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149. The bridge forms an obstacle and acts like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides of the bridge. The bridge will be closed with water over portions of the road. The intersection of Main Street and First Avenue in Scotland will be flooded with around three feet of water in four buildings...including the Post Office.
2. 20.00 ftWidespread moderate flooding continues of the large flood plain and wooded wetlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149. The bridge begins to form an obstacle and act like a dam causing some backwater and erosion eddies to the sides of the bridge. The bridge will likely be closed. The intersection of Main Street and First Avenue in Scotland will be flooded with around one foot of water in four buildings...including the Post Office.
3. 19.00 ftWidespread moderate flooding begins of the large flood plain and woodlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149. The water level reaches the bottom of the bridge and it may become closed. The intersection of Main Street and First Avenue in Scotland will begin to flood and the water level will reach the foundations of four buildings.
4. 18.00 ftWidepread minor flooding continues of the large flood plain and wooded wetlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149. The water approaches the railroad tracks in Scotland.
5. 16.00 ftMinor flooding expands further into the large flood plain and wooded wetlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149.
6. 14.00 ftMinor flooding continues of the large flood plain and wooded wetlands upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 149.
