North Fork Peachtree Creek at Briarwood Road near Atlanta

1. 33.00 ftMajor flooding continues with catastrophic inundation upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Water completely covers the bridges at Briarwood Road and Corporate Boulevard, causing severe erosion and potentially a washout. Widespread flooding of buildings along and near the creek occurs.
2. 29.00 ftMajor flooding continues with significant inundation upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. The bridges at Briarwood Road and Corporate Boulevard are inundated and continue to act like a dam, causing backwater and erosion issues. The Peachtree Creek Greenway is inaccessible. Numerous buildings along the creek are flooded and access to residential complexes near the creek are cut off.

The bridges at Briarwood Road and Corporate Boulevard are inundated and continue to act like a dam, causing backwater and erosion issues. The Peachtree Creek Greenway is inaccessible. Several buildings along the creek are inundated. An apartment complex off Briarwood Road along the creek is inaccessible, with water flooding at least two buildings. The Coprorate Square parking lot is inundated.

Water touches the bottom of the bridge on Corporate Boulevard and on Briarwood Road, and may be closed. The Peachtree Creek Greenway is inaccessible. Water enters a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge. An apartment complex off Briarwood Road along the creek may be inaccessible, with water entering at least two buildings.
6. 22.00 ftMajor flooding begins upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Water touches the bottom of the bridge on Corporate Boulevard, and it may be closed. Portions of the Corporate Square parking lot begin to flood. The Peachtree Creek Greenway is inundated with up to 12 feet of water. Water surrounds a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge. An apartment complex off Briarwood Road along the creek may be inaccessible, with water entering at least one building.
7. 21.00 ftModerate Flooding continues upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to 11 feet of water. Water surrounds a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge. Access to some apartments in the Reserve at Brookhaven complex is cut off, and water begins to enter one of the buildings near the creek.
8. 20.00 ftModerate Flooding begins upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to 10 feet of water. Water surrounds a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge, and the lower parking lot is flooded with 1 to 5 feet of water. Access to some apartments in the Reserve at Brookhaven complex is cut off, and water approaches a building near the creek.
9. 18.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to eight feet of water. Water surrounds a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge, and the lower parking lot is flooded with 1 to 3 feet of water. Flooding occurs of the right bank near the Reserve at Brookhaven residential complex.
10. 16.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to six feet of water. Water surrounds a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge.
11. 15.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to five feet of water. Water begins to inundate the lower parking lot for a building on the left bank near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge.
12. 14.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to four feet of water, particularly near Corporate Boulevard. Water begins to inundate the leftbank of the creek behind a building near the gage on the Briarwood Road bridge.
13. 13.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to three feet of water, particularly near Corporate Boulevard.
14. 11.00 ftMinor Flooding continues to expand further into the areas along the creek upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway are inundated with up to one foot of water.
15. 10.00 ftFlood Stage is reached. Minor flooding occurs along the banks upstream and downstream of the gage on Briarwood Road. Flooding of low lying portions of the Peachtree Creek Greenway occurs, particularly areas of the Greenway near Corporate Boulevard.
16. 9.00 ftBankfull conditions are reached along the creek, upstream and downstream of the gauge on Briarwood Road. Water will approach the Peachtree Creek Greenway, and in some low lying spots, it may begin to flood with a few inches of water.
