A member of the public initially reported some parts of the road in the region were impassable due to flooding. A car was reportedly stuck in flood waters near Research Forest Drive and Shadow Bend Place. The I-45 north northbound and southbound frontage roads at SH-242 were reported to be flooded and impassable. A sinking vehicle was reported near Lake Front Circle and Six Pines Drive. A vehicle was reported to be stuck in high water along Creekside Green Drive and Jagged Ridge Drive. A water rescue was reported along South Berryline Circle and Atrium Woods Court. Multiple roads were then reported to be closed due to flooding. High water was later reported on the I-45 north feeder before 242.

Lingering floodwaters remained after heavy rainfall, along with some reports of wrecks and high water in spots. The most significant report came from local broadcast news station. They reported that first responders received a call around 6pm that a 15 year old had gone missing after walking into floodwaters near a retention pond near Turriff Circle just west of The Woodlands. The 15 year old did not resurface. Boats and dive teams attempted to complete a rescue and discovered that the 15 year old had drowned.

The southeast Texas coastal waters experienced tropical storm force winds from Tropical Storm Arthur. NOS station GNJT2 Galveston North Jetty measured a maximum sustained wind of 47 knots and a maximum wind gust of 54 knots.

The southeast Texas coastal waters experienced tropical storm force winds from Tropical Storm Arthur. Weatherflow station XGPR Galveston Fishing Pier measured a maximum sustained wind of 44 knots and a maximum wind gust of 54 knots.

Social media videos showed a well-defined funnel cloud southeast of Letohatchee. No contact with the ground was evident via radar and no ground reports were received.

NWS ground survey in addition to high resolution satellite analysis confirmed an EF-0 tornado tracked from northeast of Bayou Gauche to west of Luling, LA in St. Charles Parish. The tornado damaged a patch of trees on high resolution satellite imagery and additional damage to marsh vegetation was evident with brief, weak tornado debris signatures also present on KHDC during this time. The tornado continued bending northward in direction as it approached the Blouin Canal with a larger, well-defined tornado debris signature becoming more evident on approach. A large tree was visibly damaged/displaced on high res satellite imagery in addition to other minor tree damage noted near Santa Cruz Ct as the tornado began to weaken and lift. The only minor tree damage was noted by the ground surveyor in the location.

A NWS survey team concluded that an EF-1 tornado tracked northeast across Hancock county. Tree damage was widespread along the track including several large trees uprooted and snapped. Minor damage was done to several properties. Additional revisions via high resolution satellite analysis concluded the tornado began west of Standard Dedeaux Rd, north of Rock Hill Dedeaux Rd where it quickly strengthened into an EF-1 tornado and reached its peak width of 275 yards wide. The tornado exited Hancock County, entering Harrison County at Deschamp Road.

The tornado that began in Hancock County entered Harrison County at Deschamp Road. The tornado then evidently weakened and the damage path become more intermittent until it reached the Wolf River where another swath of trees was rated low-end EF-1. The tornado damage path became intermittent once more after crossing the intersection of Cemetery and Steel Bridge Rd. The tornado then evidently reached its third peak as an EF-1 tornado as it crossed Cemetery Rd and MS Hwy 53 where swaths of trees were damaged and uprooted. The tornado then rapidly dissipated as it continued northeast and it's estimated to have lifted prior to reaching Herman Ladner Rd.

Personal weather station RWLovWeather - KGAPATTE24 measured 6.87 inches of rain. Rainfall began around 3 AM EDT. Heaviest rainfall was during 830 AM to 1030 AM where 4.4 inches of rain fell. Washed out dirt road nearby Tyrebridge Rd and Aspinwall Cemetery Rd due to flooding from Mill Creek.

The Pike County Commission reported that the following County Roads were declared impassable due to flooding: 4404, 1111, 7707, 1124, 1117, 1178, 1148, 2276. In addition, flooding was also reported near the intersection of CR 5513 and 5517, as well as in Troy near Elm St and Gibbs St.

A post on social media reported that lightning struck a power line which caused it to fall onto the road below. The downed power line caused a power outage and a portion of Osborne Road near Spence St to be closed. Time estimated off of radar and Lightning data.

An EF0 tornado with winds of 85 MPH tracked north to south across Arabi, LA in St. Bernard Parish. This was confirmed via eyewitness videos, along with debris thrown to the SE and convergent debris in that direction. Almost all of the damage was shingles off well built homes, fence damage and large branches down. Three houses had a good part of their roof removed. Two were older houses, one built in the 50s. One house had a car port attached to the roof which is where the failure occurred. The third was abandoned and neighbors confirmed it also had extensive termite damage. That and rot was observed on the roof. Given that well built homes had minor damage and the damage on the three houses were from older roofs, the rating is an 85 MPH EF0.
