A multi-day storm surge event continues for Herschel Island.
Moderate flooding is expected during high tide through Monday morning, with maximum water levels reaching up to 25 cm above highest astronomical tide. Water levels are expected to recede Monday night.
These conditions can cause damage to infrastructure near the coast, including boats beached or anchored along the shoreline.
