Anyone at the beaches after about 5 PM should stay out of the surf as lifeguards go off duty. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The rip current risk will be moderate for much of the day on Monday, then increase to high late in the day as onshore winds increase to 20 to 25 mph and seas build to 4 to 5 feet.
