* WHEN...For the High Surf Warning, until 4 PM ChST this

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. Breaking waves
  can sweep people off jetties and docks, and into dangerous 
  seas. Life-threatening swimming conditions and significant beach
  erosion can be expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best 
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dangerous surf and deadly rip currents
  continue across east facing reefs of the Marianas. Hazardous 
  surf is ongoing across north and south facing reefs and will 
  persist until Saturday afternoon.

Surf has fallen below the 9 foot threshold and allowing the risk of 
rip currents to fall to a moderate risk. Ipan buoy data shows heights
of 5.5 feet at 10.5 seconds, this produces surf of about 8 feet. Surf
is expected to continue to fall over the much of this week before
rising again over the weekend.
