* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 6 AM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A fast-moving shear line is expected to move
  into the region around 10 PM or so tonight. This will cause a
  significant (3 to 6 foot) increase in surf in a short time frame.
  With how fast this is coming in and how high the surf is projected
  to become, caution is advised.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK WILL EXPIRE AT 4 PM CHST THIS
AFTERNOON...

The swell along east facing reefs has continued to fall, this has 
allowed the surf heights to fall below the 9 foot minimum threshold 
for a High Risk of Rip Currents.

This is expected to be a short lull in the swell as the trade swell
is expected to build for the weekend. This larger swell is expected 
to build the surf to hazardous levels and risk of rip currents back 
up to high as early as Friday evening and is anticipated to last 
through the weekend.
