* WHERE...Delaware, northeast Maryland, northwest, central and 
  southern New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree 
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. 
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, 
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wet soils as well as recent icing in the 
  higher elevations combined with the high winds could result in 
  extensive tree damage. The strong winds will usher in much colder 
  air, with temperatures in the 10s and 20s and wind chills in the 
  single digits. Potential for power outages combined with the cold 
  could exacerbate the impacts of this high wind event.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and 
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution 
if you must drive.
