  Brandywine Creek At Chadds Ford affecting Chester and Delaware 
  Counties.

For the Brandywine Creek...including Chadds Ford...Minor flooding is 
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Brandywine Creek at Chadds Ford.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Open adjacent land next to the creek floods.
  At 10.0 feet, The intersections of Creek Road and Route 926 near 
  Pocopson floods upstream of Chadds Ford.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 5.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 10.6 feet tomorrow
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
