* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 430 PM EDT.
* At 1219 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL BERKS COUNTY...
At 149 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the thunderstorms that
produced the heavy rain the last hour or two have moved east out of
the warned area. Although the heaviest rain has come to end, we are
still receiving reports of water rescues in the Reading area. Flash
flooding is currently occurring. Additional thunderstorms and heavy
rain are possible as we move into the evening.
