EVENING FOR NORTHWESTERN NEW CASTLE, SOUTHWESTERN CHESTER AND
SOUTHWESTERN DELAWARE COUNTIES...
At 832 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated the
thunderstorms that had produced the heaviest rain had left the
warned area. However, additional light rain could exacerbate any
ongoing flooding. Between 0.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
