...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT TUESDAY 
FOR SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS, SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND PHILADELPHIA 
COUNTIES...

At 1156 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 
and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 
to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding has already 
occurred.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
         drainage and low lying areas.

For Frankford Creek at Frankford:
At 11:45pm the stage was 4.36 feet.
Flood Stage is 7 feet.

For Schuylkill River at Norristown:
At 11:30pm the stage was 8.4 feet.
Flood Stage is 13 feet.

For Schuylkill River at Philadelphia:
At 11:00pm the stage was 6.32 feet.
Flood Stage is 11 feet.

For Schuylkill River at Philadelphia near 30th Street:
At 11:35pm the stage was -1.67 feet.
Flood Stage is 9 feet.

For Wissahickon Creek at Wissahickon:
At 11:00pm the stage was 3.13 feet.
Flood Stage is 5 feet.

For Pennypack Creek at Pennypack:
At 11:45pm the stage was 5.31 feet.
Flood Stage is 7 feet.

For Delaware River at Trenton:
At 11:15pm the stage was 9.32 feet.
Flood Stage is 20 feet.

For Delaware River at Bridesburg:
At 11:42pm the stage was 0.87 feet.
Flood Stage is 8.5 feet.

For Wissahickon Creek at Fort Washington:
At 11:30pm the stage was 4.88 feet.
Flood Stage is 10 feet.

For Neshaminy Creek at Langhorne:
At 11:15pm the stage was 2.5 feet.
Flood Stage is 9 feet.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 334 and 341.
	Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 22 and 40.
	Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 337 and 359.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when 
it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

The heavy rain has ended, and flooding is no longer expected to pose 
a threat. However, ponding of water may remain in poor drainage 
areas. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
