...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...From early Thursday morning through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A pulse of long-period northeast swell will
  move into the region on Thursday, increasing surf and leading to a
  high risk of rip currents for east facing reefs for the latter 
  half of the week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK WILL EXPIRE AT 4 PM CHST THIS AFTERNOON...

The long-period northeast swell has subsided, allowing surf to fall
below 9 feet along east facing reefs. Therefore, the risk of rip
currents has dropped to moderate.
