...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CHST THIS EVENING
THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Along east facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...From 6 PM ChST this evening through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Primary easterly trade swell and long-
  period northeasterly swell are expected to elevate surf to 7 to
  9 feet and generate a high rip current risk along east-facing 
  reefs. By late week, another pulse of long-period northeasterly 
  swell arrives and may require an extension or reissuance of the 
  High Rip Current Risk. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help.

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Along east facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from 
  shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Primary easterly trade swell and long-period
  northeasterly swell will maintain 7 to 9 foot surf and a high rip 
  current risk along east-facing reefs of the Marianas. By late week,
  another pulse of long-period northeasterly swell arrives and may 
  require an extension or reissuance of the High Rip Current Risk.

The risk of rip currents for east facing reefs has fallen to
moderate, and surf and rip risk will continue a diminishing trend 
tonight. By late week, however, another pulse of long-period 
northeasterly swell will arrive which may require a reissuance of 
the High Rip Current Risk.
