...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM MDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL GARFIELD AND SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 136 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
of Boulder, or 20 miles north of Escalante, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Boulder.

This includes Utah Route 12 between mile markers 91 and 96.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL GARFIELD AND
SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 200 PM MDT...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of 
the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southern Utah.

Remember, Severe Thunderstorm Warning 024 still remains in effect 
for areas near and east of the eastern portion of Severe 
Thunderstorm Warning 021.
