EVENING FOR MORRIS, NORTH CENTRAL SOMERSET, NORTHEASTERN HUNTERDON,
SOUTHEASTERN SUSSEX AND EAST CENTRAL WARREN COUNTIES...
At 705 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain with Route 46 in Denville Township closed due to high
water, with multiple water rescues reported in portions of Morris
County. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
