* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Houston County in southeastern Texas...
  Southwestern Trinity County in southeastern Texas...
  Northeastern Walker County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1025 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Trinity and Lovelady.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT THURSDAY 
FOR SOUTHWESTERN HOUSTON, SOUTHWESTERN TRINITY AND NORTHEASTERN 
WALKER COUNTIES...

At 1159 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding on 
TX-356, and HWY-94 near FM-3188 due to heavy rainfall. Between 2 and 
3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
