...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CHST WEDNESDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 7 to 9 
  feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north facing reefs of the 
  Marianas. For the High Rip Current Risk, north and east facing 
  reefs of Marianas.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 AM ChST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized 
  beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Data from Ritidian buoy and surf observations
  showed surf has reached hazardous conditions for north facing 
  reefs. Seas are expected to fall 1 to 2 feet tonight, with surf 
  expected to fall below hazardous levels late tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help.

The surf has dropped below criteria levels and is expected 
to continue to fall over the coming days. Likewise, the risk of 
rip currents has also dropped. Surf is expected to be around 6 
to 8 feet along north and east facing reefs. Beach-goers should 
remain cautious.
