* At 251 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 1.75
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to
3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

EVENING FOR JEFFERSON AND NORTHERN OSWEGO COUNTIES...
At 441 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain is coming to an end within the warning. Though the
rain is ending, the threat for flooding continues as water run off
from hills collects across lower elevations. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
