* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Bay County Beaches.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 10 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Building surf up to 2 ft, the developing
  seabreeze, and a cluster of strong storms pushing through the
  north- central Gulf Coast looks to increase the rip current risk
  this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
