The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Huerfano County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 215 PM MDT.
    
* At 150 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 19 miles east of Walsenburg, or 38 miles north of
  Trinidad, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  eastern Huerfano, northwestern Las Animas and southeastern Pueblo
  Counties.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

AND SOUTHEASTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 215 PM MDT...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will
be allowed to expire.  However small hail and gusty winds are still
possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
