The Hayden Pass Burn Scar in...
Southwestern Fremont County in central Colorado...
* Until 700 PM MDT.
* At 404 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Hayden Pass Burn Scar. Up to 0.5 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the South Prong Creek, Hayden Creek, Wolf Creek, and
Cottonwood Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud,
vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in and around the Hayden Pass
Burn Scar.

EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHWESTERN FREMONT COUNTY...
At 435 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain have moved off the Hayden Pass Burn Scar with only light
rainfall continuing. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is up to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the South Prong Creek, Hayden Creek, Wolf Creek, and
Cottonwood Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud,
vegetation and other loose materials.
