...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM EDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL BERKS AND NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH COUNTIES...
    
At 220 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Wanamakers, or 14 miles southeast of Tamaqua, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Wanamakers and New Tripoli. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL BERKS AND NORTHWESTERN
LEHIGH COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
eastern Pennsylvania.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
North Central Berks and Northwestern Lehigh Counties until 245 PM 
EDT.
