...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT /11 PM CDT/
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Walton, Bay, Gulf, and Franklin County Beaches.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT /11 PM CDT/ tonight.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although yellow flags are currently flying
  at Walton County beaches, surf heights are forecast to build up
  to 3 feet this afternoon, so the risk likely increases by then.
  The high rip current risk in Gulf County applies only to South-
  cape-facing (Indian Pass).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
