...A cluster of strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Otero, 
northeastern Las Animas, south central Crowley, southeastern Pueblo 
and southwestern Bent Counties through 600 PM MDT...

At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles north of Delhi to 10 miles southeast
of Timpas to near Higbee. Movement was north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, penny size hail and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Swink, Manzanola, Higbee and
Timpas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
