The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Ocean County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 553 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Brookville, 
  or 15 miles southwest of Toms River, moving east at 35 mph. This 
  storm has a history of producing hail up to ping pong ball size 
  within the last hour.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Public.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wind 
           damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Barnegat, Beachwood, Seaside Heights, Brookville, Warren Grove,
  Bamber Lake, Ocean Acres and Waretown.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 65 and 79.

FOR EAST CENTRAL OCEAN COUNTY...

At 615 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
Barnegat, or 12 miles south of Toms River, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, 
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
