thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is
1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.

Hill Street, and Government Street had standing water in downtown
Mobile. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

At 1105 AM CDT, Flash flooding has been reported by the public at
Dauphin Island Parkway at Boykin Blvd with one vehicle stranded.
Additional flash flooding has been reported on the Cochrane Causeway
1 mile north of the Bankhead Tunnel, St. Stephens Road at Lambert
Street with vehicle stranded, and Schillinger Road south of Cottage
Hill Road. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to
1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
