  Northeastern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico...
  Northwestern Gaines County in western Texas...

* Until 600 PM CDT/500 PM MDT/.
    
* At 522 PM CDT/422 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of
  producing a tornado was located 13 miles west of Denver City,
  moving east at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Lea and northwestern Gaines Counties, including the
  following locations... Higginbotham.

At 535 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 12 miles west of Denver City, and is nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Gaines County.
