  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  2 to 6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms and
           heavy rains  producing flash flooding. Quick rives
           along rivers and streams. Mudslides and rockfall in
           areas of steep terrain.

EVENING FOR ADJUNTAS, JAYUYA, LARES AND UTUADO COUNTIES...

At 246 PM AST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 
and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 
to 6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
ongoing or expected to begin shortly and the flash flood warning may 
be extended later. So far, Rio Saliente in Jayuya, Rio Tanama, 
Grande de Arecibo and Limon are all rising and could overflow at any 
time.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 
to 6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
ongoing, and the flash flood warning will be extended. River gauges 
still show Rio Grande de Arecibo, Tanama, Limon, and Caonillas out 
of their banks.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  1.2 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate 
  is 0.5 to 1 inch per hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  another hurricane rainband producing heavy rain across the warned 
  area. Between 4 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. The expected 
  rainfall rate is 1.5 inches per hour. Additional rainfall amounts 
  of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding 
  is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Rio Caonillas is currently at 17.76 feet having reached 27.33 feet 
earlier. All other gages have fallen below flood stage at this time. 
Additional rainfall, however may changes this.
