* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents .

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ipan buoy continues to show wave heights
around 7 feet. Wave models show a slight decrease in the east swell
Thursday, which would allow the risk of rip currents to become 
moderate. Models then show surf increasing again by Friday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
