...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Mesa,
western Garfield and northeastern Grand Counties through 915 PM
MDT...

At 849 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 27
miles west of Fruita, or 37 miles west of Grand Junction, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Mesa,
western Garfield and northeastern Grand Counties.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 1 and 6.
 Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 218 and 231.
