The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Muscogee County in west central Georgia...

* Until 1230 AM EDT Monday.

* At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

  Columbus, Bibb City, North Fort Benning, Kenwood, Vista Terrace, 
  Edgewood, Columbus Metropolitan Airport, Highland Park, Saint 
  Marys Hills, Flat Rock, Benning Park, Sand Hill, Laurel Hills, 
  Avondale, Benning Hills, Rose Hill, Custer Road Terrace and Green 
  Island Hills.

FOR MUSCOGEE COUNTY...

Flood waters have receded and the heavy rain has ended, however 
periods of light to moderate rain will continue overnight. Flooding 
is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed 
remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT Monday for portions 
of north central Georgia, northeast Georgia, northwest Georgia and 
west central Georgia.
