Low relative humidities are expected through the rest of this afternoon, and again tomorrow afternoon. Minimum values in the low 20s and teens are expected along and west of US 77, with slightly higher values to the east. South to southeast winds of 10-15 mph and locally higher gusts to 20-25 mph will be possible. This combination of dry air and moderate winds will mean near critical to critical fire weather conditions. Fuels remain unusually dry, and this is leading to an active season of wildfires that are difficult to contain. Any outdoor activity that could lead to the development of sparks and resulting wildfire potential is highly discouraged!
