At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate heavy rain in
southern Providence county from south Foster to Providence and
Cranston. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen in about 2
hours. Life threatening Flash flooding is already occurring. While
rainfall rates have diminished, heavy rain will continue during the
next 1-2 hours.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.
