WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts over 60 mph.

* WHERE...In Arizona, Northwest Deserts and Lake Mead National 
  Recreation Area. In Nevada, Lake Mead National Recreation Area 
  and Southern Clark County.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST /5 AM MST/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Boating conditions will be
  deadly with large waves and high risk of capsizing vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High winds will impact operations on Lake 
  Mead and Mohave. Travelers on US 93 in Arizona as well as US 95 
  in southern Clark county will be difficult with risk of 
  overturning for high profile vehicles. Strong winds and rain 
  will make for poor visibility. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. 
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may 
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Patchy blowing dust is possible in the
  strong winds prior to the rainfall. During the rain, windblown
  rain may locally reduce visibility at times.
