* Until 1130 AM CDT.
* At 833 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Choctaw and the
southeastern half of Pushmataha counties. Between 3 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR CHOCTAW AND SOUTHERN PUSHMATAHA COUNTIES...
At 913 AM CDT, emergency management reported multiple roads covered
with flood water, including Highway 93 and Highway 3. A brief lull
in the heavy rain is expected, but additional thunderstorms
producing heavy rain will move into Choctaw and Pushmataha counties
mid to late morning. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have already
fallen, and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible. Flash flooding is already occurring.

* Until 130 PM CDT.
* At 1123 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated another round of
thunderstorms producing heavy rain expected to spread across the
warned area into early afternoon. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. While flooding from the earlier
rains has likely begun to subside, this additional rainfall should
lead to flash flooding once again.

The rain continues to diminish in coverage and intensity across
Choctaw and southern Pushmataha counties this afternoon. While
widespread flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat, brief
and localized heavy rainfall will remain possible this afternoon.
