The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Hardee County in central Florida...
  Northeastern DeSoto County in south central Florida...

* Until 330 PM EDT.
    
* At 310 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Arcadia, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Hardee and northeastern DeSoto Counties, including
  the following locations... Brownville.
