* At 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 32.6 feet tomorrow 
  morning.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, Water reaches the base of the FR-343 bridge 
  in the Apalachicola National Forest. Access into many areas along 
  the river north of the City of Sopchoppy becomes severely 
  restricted.
