* The flash flood watch has been extended as the threat for flash 
  flooding will continue through the overnight and early morning 
  hours. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches have been 
  observed over some portions of the watch area, especially in the 
  southeast Florida Big Bend where localized amounts have been near 
  8 inches. With additional rainfall expected overnight, these areas 
  have an increased risk for flash flooding. Elsewhere across the 
  western Big Bend, and FL Panhandle, rainfall amounts have been 
  lower, but the threat for flash flooding is expected to redevelop 
  overnight and into the early morning hours of Wednesday.

  Where this activity trains or moves over the same locations
  repeatedly, isolated amounts of 3 to 5 inches are possible. 
  The area remains vulnerable to renewed flash flooding through 
  this afternoon where heavy rainfall rates occur over a short 
  period of time, particularly southern Taylor, Lafayette, and 
  Northwest Dixie Counties, where radar estimated 6 to 9 inches 
  of rain on Thursday.

The Flash Flood Watch for a portion of Big Bend Florida has been
cancelled. Additional rain is not expected to cause new flooding.
Therefore, the Flood Watch is ending. 

However, existing flooding will continue. An Areal Flood Warning
is in effect for Dixie and southern Lafayette Counties due to
residual areas of standing water. A Flood Warning remains in
effect for the Steinhatchee River.
