...Gusty North Winds for the Sacramento Valley Today...

.High pressure building across Oregon and into Nevada 
will result in gusty northerly winds for the Sacramento 
Valley, especially along and west of Interstate 5 and into 
portions of Solano County today. The winds should decrease 
by late afternoon. Lighter winds expected tonight and Tuesday.

THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...North to Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 
  40 mph are expected, mainly on the west side of the Sacramento 
  Valley, and portions of Solano County. 

* WHERE...Sacramento Valley and portions of Solano County.  

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 4 PM PDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Warm, dry, and gusty north winds will also
  result in critical fire weather conditions. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
