South Central Kane County in southern Utah...
* Until 1045 PM MDT.
* At 746 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over Coyote Creek. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in Coyote Creek and into Wahweap Creek.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

EVENING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL KANE COUNTY...
At 922 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that brought up
to 1.5 inches of rain to Buckskin Gulch. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly, traveling down Buckskin Gulch into the
Paria River.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

The heavy rain has ended over Coyote Creek and Wahweap Creek.
Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Runoff from earlier
heavy rain will continue to gradually recede through late this
evening. Please continue to heed any road closures.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 300 AM MDT for a portion
of southern Utah.
