South Central Wayne County in southern Utah...
* Until 800 PM MDT.
* At 457 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.25 and 0.75
inches of rain have fallen. 3 to 4 inches of flow is already
occurring across the Scenic Drive near Grand Wash. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

At 526 PM MDT, Capitol Reef National Park Rangers reported 6 to 7
inches of water flowing through Grand Wash at Highway 24, as well as
waterfalls in the park and debris in the Fremont River.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
