  Southern Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 440 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain in Lower Paria Canyon, Buckskin Gulch, and the Wire 
  Pass area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Lower Paria Canyon Narrows, Buckskin Gulch, and the Wire Pass area.

At 630 PM MDT, The strong thunderstorms which produced intense 
rainfall in Lower Paria Canyon, Buckskin Gulch, and the Wire Pass 
areas have diminished, but light to moderate rain will continue to 
persist into this evening. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have 
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

         flash flooding.
