PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Forecast...The Sabine River is expected to rise above flood stage
early Wednesday afternoon and continue rising to 32.0 feet Sunday
morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 31.0 feet, expect flooding of several hundred acres of
trails and paths. Expect inundated boat ramps. Flooding will

late Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 28.9 feet
early Saturday afternoon.
* Impact...At 28.0 feet, Expect considerable lowland flooding on the
reach of the Sabine River from the Tatum through Beckville and
DeBerry areas with flooded boat ramps, gas and petroleum wells,
and even some low area cabins.
